Extra Murals
Winnie the Pooh offers a wide range of extra murals. These activities are outsourced to specialists and take place on our school premises. They are optional and are provided at an additional fee over and above the school fees.
Pottery
Pottery is taught by Malcolm and Dawn from Hope Farm Pottery, pottery craft for boys and girls of all ages.
Swimming
Swimming is taught by Kelly Sheahan. Kelly fetches the children from school and teaches small groups in a heated pool. Her lessons focus on child water safety through exercise and play.
Monkeynastics
Monkeynastics is taught by Sonia. Monkeynastics develops general motor imitation skills, general fitness, strength, speed and agility, flexibility and cardio vascular fitness.
Masters Golf
Masters Golf is taught by Nick van Schalkwyk. Boys and girls of all ages learn about the game of golf.
Ballet
Ballet is taught by Jacqui Weddell from the Royal Academy of Dance. Jacqui has taught ballet at Winnie the Pooh for many years and the girls love her classes.
Hip Hop
Hip Hop is taught by Christy. Hip Hop is a fun and exciting activity to develop skills and enter a whole world of magical movement through music and dance.
Soccercise Starz
Soccer is taught by Matthew. Soccercise performs an early training platform for children aged 3 – 8 years old where they will learn various skills, not only in soccer, but other sports that involve playing with a ball.
Drama Dynamics
Drama Dynamics is a Speech and Drama extra mural activity that will extend your child’s creative ability through the use of various stimuli. These include mime, stories, movement, music, plays and much more. Drama Dynamics assists with vocabulary and speech development which promotes confidence.
